Max’s Sunflowers
One of the Promise Tree events this month was a watercolor class given by new member Linda G at the Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham. We learned how to properly use the medium and we all created a beautiful picture of sunflowers to take home.
The Annual Civic Beautification and Horticulture Awards were awarded at the last meeting.
It is that sad time of year again when the summer flowers give in to the fall weather. The gang tidied up the bandstand in Exeter last Wednesday. Here they are at work.
Susan tells us that the Yard Sale at Stratham Hill Park made $394.74. Not bad for a morning’s work! Thanks to everyone who worked on this event or donated items to sell. Betsy was good enough to take leftovers to the Swap Shop, so some items live on! Here’s the crew, thanks to Nance and her camera…..
