Pomegranate in Lime & Rose Water Syrup

This is a delicious dessert or starter. It is the perfect dish for a holiday brunch.

4 Servings

¼ cup Sugar
½ cup Water
1 Pomegranate
Juice of 1 small Lime
½ tbs. Rose Water

  1. Place sugar and water in a small sauce pan and heat to boiling until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Cut pomegranate in half and carefully remove seeds and their transparent coats. Discard the white membrane. Stir the pomegranate seeds, lime juice and rose water into cooled syrup. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Garnish with lime slices and add more rose water if desired before serving.
