The Exeter Area Garden Club is a non-profit organization that was formed to encourage interest in all types of gardening and to promote civic beauty and the conservation of natural resources.
Each year, a scholarship is available to high school seniors or current college students who are pursuing a field of study related to horticulture, the environment, conservation and/or ecology. Our intent is to encourage and help support the recipient’s attendance at a university, college or other institution of higher education offering courses in the plant sciences.
A selection committee reviews applications and chooses a student based on their scholastic achievement, career goals, and demonstrated enthusiasm for a career in plant science. Applications for the scholarship can be obtained on our website.
