On May 31, 2012, the first annual spring Tea Party was hosted by the Environment & Conservation Committee as a Promise Tree event. Everyone had such a good time, that it was agreed that we need to have one every year. We all wore our prettiest hats and laciest gloves. We had tea, tea sandwiches and, of course, sweets. All very elegant. Lynda was so excited, she sang “God Save the Queen”. She must have had a an English flashback, being the Queen’s Jubilee and all. Here are some candid shots of the event.

Each club member will make a promise, determine a monetary value, write it on a leaf and hang it on the Promise Tree at the general meeting.
