Vines Just Want to Climb

Morning Glories, while quite pretty, are very aggressive climbers so you need to be careful where you plant them in your garden. They will climb over anything and everything, if you know what I mean.

Morning Glory is the common name for over 1,000 species in the family Convolvulaceae. In frost free climates many species are grown as perennials, but here in snowy New Hampshire, they are annuals. They start blooming in Spring. Plant them  in the full sun where they have something to climb. They will tolerate poor, dry soil.
