Cardamon Ice Cream

This delicious ice cream was served at Susan Canada’s 2013 Christmas luncheon.


2 Eggs
1 1/8 cup Sugar
Heavy Cream & Whole Milk
2 tsp. Cardamom
3 tbs. Vanilla

  1. Beat eggs until light, add sugar slowly and continue beating on high until very thick.  Slowly add vanilla, cream and milk and cardamom.  (You can substitute nutmeg and eggnog for a Christmas treat.)
  2. My ice cream maker calls for 46 oz., so I add a combination of  2/3 cream to 1/3 milk to the sugar and eggs to make amount.  If your machine can take a larger amount, you will need to add another egg and more sugar.  Basically, you can just follow your machine’s recipe for Vanilla & add seasoning.
