Not content with the bounty of Mother Nature as it is, Man must “improve” on her work. I am not sure I what I think about this, except for the Bonsai, of course….

  1. I like the square watermelon, easy to slice and no more rolling around. I assume they are seedless. The shaped cukes are fun… kids might eat more if they like the fun shapes of veggies and fruits. Maybe pumpkins are next ( for our Halloween party!!) Like weeding and watering weren’t enough, now we’ll have to put the molds on at just the right time to “shape” our fruit!

  2. what a great post! i am partial to the pears! just another example of seeing plants in a different way, and they are not doing anything to hybridize them (or so it seems).
