Forget-Us-Not
This week was the Webmaster’s week to care for the Veteran’s Garden at Stratham Hill Park. The Website Chief Technical Officer and I went armed with a camera and weeding tools today. We were impressed at how beautiful it looked. The plants all look healthy and happy. So did the weeds that had grown after the big rain yesterday. Good thing I had the CTO along for quality control. I would have missed a few weeds otherwise.
Many thanks to the Beautification Committee that redesigned this garden and added new plantings. I believe that Mel, Becky, Deena and Diana are the gardeners that fixed up his lovely spot. If I missed anyone, please give me a severe talking to. Also, a big thank you to members who donated plants from their own gardens for this and Scamman’s Home & Garden who provided us with mulch.

The new plantings have made such a huge difference! It still looks serene, but more polished.
Very nice! I really like the gray-green and white colors combined with the grasses. Great choice of plantings.
Beautiful. Elegant. Honoring.
Wow! I am impressed. Flower choices are wonderful and respectful.
What a wonderful spot to reflect on and honor our veterans. It is really special.
